I was born in SLC and around the age of 10 my family moved to a small, heavily religious Utah county town. While I was 'raised' in the church (mormon), I had a lot of questions that couldn't be answered which caused me to rebel every chance I got. I was introduced to Hardcore and Punk around the age of 12 I knew I had found my people and my home. Like other "misfits" in Utah, I've had family turn their backs on me, and been kicked out of their homes all because they didn't agree with how I choose to live my life. Individualism and freedom of expression are extremely important to me and those can be found in abundance in the various scenes here in SLC.
